Welcome to the fun and creative world of beginner earring making! In this class, you will learn the basics of creating your own unique earrings from scratch. No prior experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new! You'll be introduced to various earring making tools, techniques, and materials while learning how to design and assemble your very own dangles. By the end of class, you will have a collection of handmade earrings to show off or gift to friends and family. Unleash your inner jewelry designer and add a personal touch to your accessories! You'll pick from a variety of beads, allowing for complete customization. You'll leave with a tools and materials list including where to buy, and of course, your earrings! What to expect: Each participant will create 2-3 pairs of dangles. All materials and supplies will be provided: supplies & materials fee: $20 to be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.

Over exposed image? No problem—adjust the exposure in editing mode. Wish your photo could be black and white instead of color? Choose a filter and change the ambiance of your image. Does the main object of your picture seem lost among extraneous details? Use the cropping feature to focus your viewer’s eye on the most important part of the image. These examples are just a few of the many ways you can turn an average image into something special. Have fun editing your pictures with the many options in your Mac’s Photos app. This course includes five primary videos: Know the Icons you’ll need for editing; learn how to Crop your photos; apply Filters and Markup, and two videos of various Adjustments, like exposure, highlights, and brightness and more. Other course resources include support guides for each video all focused on understanding and using your Mac to edit your images. BoomerTECH Adventures also provides email support before, during, and after the class. The course package contains all the materials you need: Tips for Getting Started, and summaries of each of the instructional videos, a list of all course resources (videos and printed articles). Cooking Matters™ classes provide a culinary-enhanced nutrition education program that teaches participants how to prepare meals that are healthy, tasty and low in cost. Each lesson engages participants in hands-on meal preparation, practical nutrition tips and food budgeting skills. This class provides participants with the knowledge and skills to make healthy food choices, as well as to prepare healthy meals and snacks on a limited budget. Class highlights include: lessons featuring hands-on learning and recipe preparation, group discussions, tasty food samples, free recipe book, and a bag of groceries to prepare a dish from each week’s class at home. Because of popularity and the limited class size priority will be given to those who have not previously registered for this class.
