Ballroom Basics is a six-week session covering two ballroom dances, Fox Trot and East Coast Swing. The goal is to feel comfortable dancing through a full song - and have fun! No partner or dance experience is necessary, just bring your willingness to learn!

In this one-hour training, MSAD 61 staff will review the requirements for becoming a substitute teacher in MSAD 61 and how to get on the substitute list; professional expectations and best practices for substitute teachers; what to expect at the various schools in the district; and some district policy and legal information. Participants who complete this training are eligible to receive an additional $10 per day in substitute pay, and this includes current substitutes!

By the end of class, you will have a collection of handmade earrings to show off or gift to friends and family. Unleash your inner jewelry designer and add a personal touch to your accessories! You'll pick from a variety of beads, allowing for complete customization. You'll leave with a tools and materials list including where to buy, and of course, your earrings! What to expect: Each participant will create 2-3 pairs of dangles.
