The phlebotomist is a vital member of the clinical laboratory team who obtains patient blood specimens by venipuncture and micro-collection for testing purposes. Phlebotomists are employed across the healthcare system.
We welcome you to this information session where we will review the classroom components at Lake Region and Fryeburg Area Adult Education and the clinical experience at Bridgton Hospital, payment plans and resources for financial assistance, and complete the registration paperwork.
Phlebotomy class eligibility includes being age 18+, holding a high school diploma, and a 239 CASAS score. Those with a Bachelor's degree do not need to take the CASAS.
