Painting with alcohol inks is a magical process using isopropyl alcohol (yes, the same alcohol you already have in your medicine cabinet). Alcohol inks are a fluid medium that are hard to control and that is the best part! Once you have learned how to manipulate the inks and the right approach to this medium, you should find it an extremely fun and addictive style of painting! Students should bring their open mind and an adventurous spirit to this class as we explore this fluid medium and techniques. Lab fee: $10 to be paid directly to the instructor at the start of class.

In this fun, interactive class, you’ll learn basic Spanish, understand the eight ways it differs from English, and start reading, writing, listening, and speaking on Day #1. Subject matter will be tailored to your interests and goals. Having a dinnertime class on “Taco Tuesdays” means you’re encouraged to bring one! Class meets for 4 weeks, April 1, 8, 15, and 29, with April 22 off for spring break. Bring your pen & paper or digital note-taking materials.

This is a two-session class, you must be present at both sessions in order to earn the credit. The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is aimed to improve a student’s defensive driving awareness and abilities. This five-hour course runs over two evenings and includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes. The course may be taken for point reduction only once every 365 days. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record.
