Enjoy a night of fun personalizing your candle, choosing your scents and crafting a unique bouquet no one will believe was crafted by YOU! Artificial flowers are handmade using acrylic beads and metal wire. They are perfect for daily use and can be placed indoors and outdoors as a stunning eye-catching centerpiece decoration! You will be instructed on chords, songs, light improvs and melodies, and gain the basic skills and confidence to become a beginner guitar player! Phlebotomy Technician

The phlebotomist is a vital member of the clinical laboratory team who obtains patient blood specimens by venipuncture and micro collection for testing purposes. Phlebotomists are employed across the health care system. Classroom and clinical experience include medical terminology, blood collection, procedures, specimen hands-on practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. Class includes the National Healthcareer Association’s Certified Phlebotomist Technician (CPT) exam. Clinical experience for this class is held at Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, Maine. Learners are required to pre-register through attendance at an in-person information session. Learners provide documentation of a recent medical physical examination conducted and signed by a physician, and the following vaccinations: COVID 19, Seasonal Flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tetanus, Varicella, and TB, before starting clinicals. Class size is limited.

MSAD 61 Substitute Teacher Training

In this one-hour training, MSAD 61 staff will review the requirements for becoming a substitute teacher in MSAD 61 and how to get on the substitute list; professional expectations and best practices for substitute teachers; what to expect at the various schools in the district; and some district policy and legal information. Participants who complete this training are eligible to receive an additional $10 per day in substitute pay, and this includes current substitutes!

Free. Pre-registration required.
