In this fun and interactive class, you'll be draped in a variety of colors to learn about warmer and cooler tones to determine what types of colors look best on you. You'll also receive recommendations for eye shadows, blush and lipsticks for your coloring so you can creatively put together a more vibrant you!

Phlebotomy Technician

The phlebotomist is a vital member of the clinical laboratory team who obtains patient blood specimens by venipuncture and micro collection for testing purposes. Phlebotomists are employed across the health care system. Classroom and clinical experience include medical terminology, blood collection, procedures, specimen hands-on practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. Class includes the National Healthcareer Association’s Certified Phlebotomist Technician (CPT) exam. Clinical experience for this class is held at Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, Maine. Learners are required to pre-register through attendance at an in-person information session. Learners provide documentation of a recent medical physical examination conducted and signed by a physician, and the following vaccinations: COVID 19, Seasonal Flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tetanus, Varicella, and TB, before starting clinicals. Class size is limited.
